Versatile Restoration are a well established company offering very high standards of tiling and floor tile restoration. We specialise in the supply and fitting of Victorian Floor tiles.
Michael, in 1991 completed a 4 year apprenticeship in wall and floor tiling and then spent a further 5 years gaining on site experience before travelling to Australia in order to gain more experience.
On his return, Versatile was set up and solely specialised in the high end of the tiling industry carrying out tile fitting for the Porcelanosa group based in Cardiff.
After spending 8 weeks installing marble tiles in France, went onto Pescara, Italy to complete a course in Marble and natural stone floor tile restoration.
The company name was then changed from “Versatile” to “Versatile Restoration” to accommodate for the growing industry of floor tile restoration.

Victorian Restoration Process
The restoration of a Victorian tiled floor will firstly involve the removal and replacement of loose or damaged pieces.
The floor will then be deep cleaned using machinery and the appropriate products to achieve the desired results.
Each and every restored floor area will have been treated to at least 5 different stages using at least 7 different restoration products.
Not only are the tiles deep cleaned, the tiles will have the surface tension increased to ensure each piece will remain looking great for many years.
A choice of sealers will be applied to complete the restoration.
Restoration is less expensive than the cost of replacement and you will have a surface that looks as good as, if not, better than new, as a result of diamond polishing .
